So I recently moved house and I contacted eir to change my account to the new house I had mobile and broadband they said they can’t get a reading for the broadband. Few days passed and today a technician came to install the phone line. I ringed then a few hours later and says they don’t have the readings yet and could take up to 4 days. I check and the nearest cabinet is 2km away so I won’t be getting good speed.

I’m just wondering if I just stay with the mobile and don’t take they’re broadband and switch to virgin media, would they say I need to pay a cancellation fee?
