    Hi all,

Having a few problems with my Optimuss OS3+.
It's operating on Open ATV 5.1 , can't upgrade to 6.2 it's not recognising usb stick. Anyway, that's only one of my problems.

The most pressing (and annoying) issue is I cannot control the volume from it's remote control, can only do this from the tv remote. Perhaps if I start from scratch it might overcome some of these problems.

I've also checked for updates and none show. It's hardwired presently.

Any help would be much appreciated,

    Thanks in advance.

    J

    Hi all,

Decided to reset to factory settings and now in a bootloop.

Anyway, I formatted a usb and downloaded openatv 6.1 to root. Is this root to be given a particular name or "optimussos3 plus" do as filename.

    Thanks again,

    J

Root is the empty folder that has no directory made whatsoever.

Just unzip the file to that drive.

There are three images available. Check that one doesnt sort your ptoblem with the audio.

    Hi STB,

Tried to install all three 6.2 updates but none of them worked, don't know why. I reverted back to 5.2 and this worked first time. So everything is working perfectly. I'm delighted everything is back to normal.

    Thanks again for your help.
