    1. There are plastic barriers remaining on public property following works by Irish Water. Can these be removed please?

    Please PM us with your full name, contact number & the location of these barriers, and a member of our team will look into this for you.

    2. I am currently experiencing water quality disruptions to the supply from my cold kitchen tap. Can this be looked into please?

    Please PM us with the following information and a member of our team will look into this for you:

    - Your full name;
    - Your address;
    - Your contact number;
    - A description of your supply disruption; and
    - Are your neighbours also experiencing this?

    Once these details are confirmed, we will certainly follow up.

    3. My landlord wishes me to pay a share of a water bill for an unmetered commercial premise in my building. Am I liable?

    If you are living in a domestic residence, you shouldn't be paying domestic charges via your landlord.

    As you have stated that there is no meter, your landlord would have received an assessed bill for the registered businesses and not the residential property.

    4. I am about to apply for a New Connection and I wish to know if a connection to my property is feasible, the timeframe involved, and what the associated costs will be. Can you help?

    We would recommend that you submit a Pre-Connection Enquiry form so that the feasibility of connecting to the mains and associated costs can be assessed for you. This form can be found here.

    Each new connection will be assessed on an individual basis and therefore we are unable to provide a time-frame for you. For more information on our connections process, please see this link.

    5. I am undergoing some work at my house and wish to turn off the supply to my property from the mains. Is this possible?

    In order to turn off your supply from the public mains to your property, you can switch your supply off using the outside stop valve located in your meter box.

    Once the works are complete you can turn back on your supply, as the outside stop valve is on publicly accessible land.
