    Hello All,

My dad was in with the doctor for a check up and mentioned a small pain in his side. The GP said it was probably nothing but he would send him for a chest x ray just incase. He had the x ray today and got a phone call this evening asking him to call in.
So he has a 5cm lesion on his left lung. He has no other symptoms, recently had bloods done and they were all fine, and has never felt better. Hes in to the hospital for more tests next week. I'm absolutely terrified that its cancer. My dad did have pneumonia as a child wo wondering if it could be scaring from this? Anyone been through this before?
