Doesn't seem long ago I was buying him a tricycle but my eldest son is turning 18 and suddenly talking about doing theory test and driving.

Any advise to begin us on this journey. I'm trying to find out about the insurers who quote with the lessons as part of the insurance plan. No doubt it will cost a small fortune.

Is he better to do this at this age or later ?

    Thank you

If you're with Aviva they will give him the 12 lessons and six months accompanied insurance for €500 .

You won't find much better than that.

He may aswell start now. Better get the full license before he has a need for it. It's good aswell to give him a bit of responsibility and show him you trust him.
