In London this weekend . If using my debit card to withdraw cash at ATM it says I can use my card without charge at BOI machines or post office ATMs .
No disrespect but I never recall seeing a BOI atm in London so that’s not an option . Regarding post office atm .. do you physically have to go into the post office or do they have ATMs in the wall outside ??
Other than that what’s best machine to use ?

Hi LuasSimon,

Thanks for getting in touch.

If you have a Euro account and you are withdrawing Sterling, it will be subject to cross boarder handling fees regardless of the ATM used.

I'm just a bit unsure of your query in relation to using the card without charges, can you please confirm where you got this information?

Thanks,

Lorna

The Post Office in the UK says their Bank of Ireland ATMs are free:

There are over 2,600 free-to-use* Post Office Money® ATMs (owned and operated by the Bank of Ireland) in our branches.
Mobile phone top up is now available 24hrs a day via the free-to-use* external ATMs at Post Office branches.
Use our branch finder tool to locate your nearest free-to-use ATM. Select ATM from the dropdown box and then hit Search.
You can also withdraw cash from most major bank accounts free of charge over the counter in any of our branches.

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

Hi Tow,

Thanks forgetting back to us.

The information you have posted above is in relation to the BOI UK Post Office Current Account. We run a Current Account in the UK in Partnership with the UK Post Office called Post Office Money.

As you hold a Bank of Ireland Euro Current Account there would be charges when using your card in the UK. I have attached a link with information on these charges here -> http://bit.ly/2GFRnaD

I hope this helps and enjoy your trip to London.

Many Thanks

John
