What is the bleeding story with these?

They are all over my social media feeds from different organisations and sports clubs raffeling off houses and holidays from 100 quid a ticket.

Where the f**k are they getting these houses to raffle off?

I think the organisations buy houses or are gifted houses and raffle them. Then they make more money from the raffle than the cost of the house.

You mean I can just win a whole house? I wish I knew this before I quit my job and got pregnant with the 2nd of the 8 babies I plan on having.

€100 a ticket x 10,000 tickets is €1,000,000, less a cost price house @€;150,000-200,000, and a few other token prizes and you have plenty of easy money for the clubs. The builder/developer gets some "free" advertising.

I don't see an issue with it, buy a ticket or don't. What's the problem.

I heard that Margaret Cash plans to raffle off a couple of them too.

They've been flogging one up in Donegal for about a year now. Obviously not selling enough tickets to cover the cost.
