Does "sale of goods..." cover transactions between businesses also?

So if a business buy goods from a reseller do any warranty issues go through the reseller and not manufacturer?

Just like a faulty TV goes through where I personally purchased it and not the manufacturer?

    no.

manufacturer warranty can be a quick way to resolve issues.

when you buy from another business the terms and conditions of the contract determine what avenues are open to you. if they breach those terms and conditions there are remedies available to you. in addition you are still entitled to expect

the goods are fit for purpose
the goods are of satisfactory quality
the goods don't match the seller's description

But enforcing these rights can be expensive and time consuming when compared to making a call to manufacturer.
