Didnt the original Gardai Patrol programme way back have fairly loud / dramatic type intro music?

Sometimes the budget for the recreation is more than was actually stolen in the crime.

    I saw documentary on that

Reporter: How can you justify destroying a $7 million mini-mall to rescue a girl whose ransom was only $25,000?
    Little Girl: F*CK YOU, LADY!
    John Spartan: Ha! Good answer!

    Sounds more orchestral than metal.

Very true, there a few months back they did a reconstruction of a robbery of a GAA club on a winters Monday night. The haul was reported as a measly €250. No coincidence then that the GAA club was very close by to Irishtown Garda station in D4 which is the station responsible for putting on the Crimecall show I believe. A complete waste making a reconstruction like that over a €250 theft but someone must have been pulling strings when there was far more serious crimes going unshown.

I think the barman was held up at gun point and tied up as well which is probably why it featured!
