    LAP is complete rubbish. (It's Screwfix's own brand.)

    You'd be better with integrated luminaires however that are suitable for installation on a combustible surface. With a GU10 in theory a halogen lamp could be fitted into them.

    They don't look great imo.

    The first one looks like an integrated fitting, so no lamp change is possible, I could be wrong.

    Second one allows a lamp change. You'd want something that's colour didn't fade or end up magnolia in colour.

    Sometimes a dull metal like surface is better for this.

    There are lots of options for downlights it's worth spending a little bit on them, you get a big upgrade for a few bob.
