Sale of farm by estate

    Ok, so when an a farm owned by an estate which can decide to sell the farm? Is it majority rules ? Ie if there are 7 brothers and sisters all with an equal stake do they need 4 to agree to se to be able to sell or do they need everyone to agree to the sale?

    I'd imagine it's even more clear cut than that
    If some of the inheritors want money and sue for it,Sale will be inevitable
    So it can happen without a vote unless perhaps a sale is prohibited which you say it isn't

    As above, if one wants their share they are entitled to it. If others do not want it to be sold they might be able to come to some agreement to sell off part of it to satisfy that debt, or else buy them out

    Unless there is some kind of trust set up. Which might prevent it from being sold. Not usual, but also not impossible
