    Hi there,

I am considering doing an SNA/ECCE intensive short course and have come across good sounding ones in places including Portobello Institute and the Progressive College and was just wondering about people’s experiences and opinions with colleges like them and other similar/ further education colleges and courses?

I know a lot of people on here have had bad experiences with some of these ages (especially Portobello) but most of those threads are quite old so was just wondering if anyone had any up-to-date experiences or opinions of these places and their courses to know if any of them have upped their game.

    Thanks in advance!

Hey there. I am in the same position now. Did you complete any sna course? I’m looking at portobello intensive special needs course and it’s over a week which sounds bizarre. Any tips welcome....

I have been to private colleges for very specialised course and got on great.
I have also met the scholars for the "regular" private colleges. They werent fit for the public colleges but daddy bought them a place there. This leads to further issues down the line.

A girl I knew had notions of herself as a nurse or a teacher and couldnt get the grades necessary. So Daddy (big country gentleman farmer), bought her a course in a Dublin private college. After college she landed a job in the bank. Crash 2007 they were dumping the dead weight and her ass goes over board and she wants to go back teaching. Daddy pays for private college. She marries a guy from the bank and now she is vice Principal. Swear to jesus this is what the world is coming to. The poor girl had a pretty face like a cocker spaniel and not two brain cells to rub together.
