I have an iphone 7 but need a second phone so I'm looking at trying an android phone. Budget is €300, could go higher if needed. I hate the notch that apple have inflicted on the world so no notch, I'm fine with bezels. I would like a fingerprint scanner on the front as I'm use to it and I would probably buy new, other than that I'm easy going. The likes of oneplus 5 or nokia 8 or similar would suit but I can't find them.

    Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

    mi 9 se

    299

good cpu, main 48mp camera, wide angle, zoom camera. NFC

in-screen fingerprint scanner which is usually only on the most expensive phones.

has all the bands for ireland

tiny teardrop notch - you wouldn't notice it tbh

The mi looks decent, if I can avoid focusing on the teardrop notch. What's Eglobal like to buy from, customs/delivery times?

Xiaomi Mi A2. Would almost have specs similar to an iPhone 6 or 7.
Pure android phone and waaaaay under your budget.

I looked at that alright, the fingerprint scanner on the back was putting me off but I suppose I would get used to it quick enough.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro - 64GB 6.26-Inch Android 8.1 UK Version SIM-Free Smartphone - Black (Official UK Launch)

Bought this for €220, and am very happy with it...battery is excellent

The Note 7 is out now as well.

Very quick. I have an iPhone 7 with work and a Mi A2 for personal. I’d dump the iPhone in a second if I could. To me, the Mi A2 is a far superior and nicer phone to use.

no customs ever as they come through Europe.

    expect 10 days delivery.

there is the odd delay problem reported if they were lying about stock available but I've never had an issue.

with due respect to the A2 and the Redmi Note 6 pro the Mi 9 SE is a fair bit superior.

that samsung a50 I'm not that familiar with but doesn't look too bad just going on specs but the mi 9 se would have the better camera set-up and a better cpu but the Samsung has a very good OLED screen but apparently the fingerprint sensor is a bit dodge on it

actually the mi 9 se has an OLED screen also
