On Call Entitlements

    If I am on call for 7 days 24 hours a day on rotation every 5 weeks or so. Am I entitled to any days off in lieu? I have to have laptop on me at all times and be in a fit state to troubleshoot issues.

    I am currently getting no extra pay or time off.

    That is slave labour.

    What does your contract say? I am similar in that I do 7x24 oncall one week in 4 but I get a flat rate amount for that week and I'm not expected to be in the office on time next morning. At the very least you legally need 11 hours uninterrupted rest between working days.

    If your contract doesn't stipulate it, you shouldn't do it without additional compensation.
