If you couldn’t see and were walking, how steep would the incline or decline have to be before you noticed you were steadily walking uphill or downhill?

    2.3 degrees.

    Equally for both?

    The Geography degree is obsolete.

So where does that leave us?

I'm inclined to think this thread is a wind up.

    It's an uphill struggle.

Helpful tip: As you move further away from the centre of the Earth the pull of the Earth's gravity decreases. Also the concentration of oxygen in the air decreases. Or the air "thins out".
Keep an eye out for infinitesmal drops in temperature as well.

Anyone who doesn’t know when they’re walking uphill needs their ears examined.

Hello everyone, this is my 1st post* so I hope to contribute loads of recollections and facts to this website.

I once walled up a hill backwards which I found to be very difficult, but coming down was much easier, specially as I was facing the right way!
