    Hi all. I applied for Irish citizenship in January 2019. Has anyone any information on how long the whole process is taking now.

    Well all I know is that a relative applied in Aug 2018 and still hasn't received approval. She's been here since 09 but a few of those years were under the ''student'' stamp.

    In theory 12 months max but some security clearance from other countries you've lived in can take years to come through, South Africa is notoriously bad.
