I'm in the Midlands and am available to contract rear. How would I source a farmer?

Depends what you want to do, some rearers take them when they're weaned and feed them through to calving in which case the calves would be only ready to go to the rearer now, It'll only cost you the price of an ad, you never know what's out there

You might be a bit late but no harm in testing the waters either. Teagasc might be worth looking in on as well. We got an email earlier this year looking to know if we were interested in having calves reared as they had a few farmers looking to get started later in the spring.
