Internet Radio Listening

    Hey there long time SWL have a number of Radio's in the Shed (Shack) but of late been listening to a lot more on-line Web SDR, Broadcastify etc but my question is Does anyone know where I can listen to US Coastguard and Offshore Rig's etc mainly the Louisiana coast as I cant seem to find anything on-line. Any replies - links much appriciated.

    I'm not sure about US Coastguard but if you have the frequencies then possibly SDRConsole could do it. https://www.sdr-radio.com/Software/Version3. There are quite a few US online radios you can connect to.

    I have used it in the past to tune into US truckers CB broadcasts so cant see why you cant find one that will work for the coastguard.

    The eam.watch site links to Twente SDR and a US one. It is generally quite good and the spectrum has online notations. If that's not good enough, there's a chat box that generally has a few people at all times of the day or night. Mad_lad will be able to give some good recommendations and he runs his own online SDR.

    Thanks for the replies Lads much appreciated will try them. On University Twente quite often its a handy site alrite- 73 for now ;-)
