How is a question on Macbeth supposed to be answered?

I'm a bit confused. My teacher said that we have to answer in our opinion but quote the specific acts/lines. He hasn't given us a template though.

You make sure to treat each element of the question. If you post up an actual Macbeth question people can make suggestions.

Support your answer by relevant quotation or reference. "The Banquo Macbeth has killed is not the innocent soldier who met the witches and scorned their prophecies, nor the man who prayed to be delivered from temptation. He is a man whose principles have been deeply compromised."

First of all, you would decide whether you agree with the statement or not. Do you think he has changed his principles?

If you do, you then compare him at the start of the play to him at the end. What incidents/quotes can you use to show that he has changed? You do not need to quote pages of quotes.
