Hi just wondering if people who are members in clubs would throw up the price of a 30/40 or 50 bird shoot for beginners.Looking at getting into clay shooting having never shot clays before. As harbour house is close would anyone have a price for them. Thanks

Was on to Toby and he gave me the rundown of most shooting available.Clays for people without own guns are €40/25 and €60/50 clays respectively. As said already €15/50 clays for non members I can't remember did he say you had to have your own insurance for that package.Zeroing your rifle on 50 or 100 metre range was €20 for an hour. All in all he seemed bang on and a few friends and I hopefully will be down to shoot some clays in a few weeks.

Ha ha ha such a fiasco lol. I shot on the sunday and was second on our squad. I cleared the stand with the fast right to left quartering bird and then the left to right looper. The next guy in our squad shot his first pair then all went to **** with The quartering trap. So they swapped it for a nice handy looper in front of you. I emailed the league to see if the lads that genuinely cleared the stand where going to be given a few extra birds but no luck !!!!

I was never there but the club asked me to look into organising a day out so looking at whats on offer.
we have been in Courtlough & Newtownmountkennedy a good number of times so were interested in trying somewhere else.

    What's bad about Lakelands?

Dont mind me thats just my personal opinion. Just think they are dreadful to deal with.

Try balheary for your day out. They have skeet trap, compack and sporting. Gareth and jonny are the men in charge and are absolutely a1

Cavan RGC spring league I'd €15 for 40, €10 reentry. Your best score counts.

Most gun club grounds up our way is €15 for 50.

€20 for an hour? That's great given the insurances involved.

First they came for the socialists...
