HR question on annual leave entitlements from a 4 to a 3 day week

I'm coming back from maternity leave half ways through this year and i'll be returning on a 3 day week. I'm now on a 4 day week.

I'm really confused as to annual leave entitlements. I'm on 16.80 days per year at the moment (based on a 4 day week). When calculating how many days i'll roughly have when I come back on a 3 day week, is this calculated on my return to work date as opposed to when my 26 weeks maternity ends? I'll be taking a few weeks unpaid leave after the 26 weeks.

I'm presuming the year will be split in 2 regarding annual leave and the calculation will change to 3 days only upon my return to work date?

    Any advice much appreciated!
