My current carry bag (ping hoofer) will twist around itself on the trolley (motocaddy) during the round. Have to keep readjusting during the round.
Looking at getting a cart bag any recommendations on light and slim type cart bag. Max spend is €150.

Not really sure, but generally I would say, if you have a motokaddy trolley, probably aim for a motokaddy bag. I think in a lot of cases they motokaddy & powakaddy have added specific fittings to the bottom of their bags & carts so that they kind of slot into each other

Its a push trolley from the motorkaddy range (not current) so I'm hoping this opens up some options?

Ping do a lightweight cart bag, I think its called the Traverse or Traverse II maybe. Can't remember how much I paid for mine but it would have been in or around the €150 mark.

I find an aul elasticated luggage strap does the job at stopping the bag moving

Or a bungee cord, pick a pack up in Halfords or Amazon for a few quid.

Make sure to look for a cart bag with a groove in the base to fit the part of the trolley the bag sits on. This will prevent the bag twisting on the trolley. A heavy bag leaning to one side will weaken the trolley in the long term.

Many brands have the groove. You should also consider opting for waterproof as well.

Personally, I'd go for storage over weight and accept that my trolley bag will be heavy because of carrying wetgear, hats and extra tops, too many golf balls etc.

I swap clubs into a car bag if I'm only playing a casual 6/9 holes.
