    Hey all,

Mate has a male staffie which is neutered, and friendly with other people, but not so much with other dogs. Mate has one other (smaller) dog, and the staffie and it get along.

Mate is thus looking to get the dog sociable with other dogs. I think the staffie is about 2 years or so. Mate says that his staffie barks/becomes aggressive towards other dogs when he is walking it.

Thus far, he has only come across trainers that offer to take the dog for two weeks for €800-€900 to train him (as in, they take the dog for the full two weeks), but mate is unsure how it'd work, and would prefer to know how to handle the staffie in such situations.

Mate is based near Maynooth, so is looking to see if there are classes that will socialise the dog near there.
