Travel Insurance for pre existing condition

I have a long term illness and usually take the VHI annual multi trip travel policy. I was advised that going through my health insurer would make it easier. This year I only see myself going on one trip so don’t have a need for a multi trip policy. Are there any insurers with single trip cover that won’t fleece me?
