Last year we ended up replacing the sensor in few of the rooms with these new HKC Contact sensor. However we are noticing that the window can be opened a good bit before the alarm is triggered. Any idea why this is the case vs the pervious magnetic sensors ? Is there a way to change the sensitivity ?

The stronger magnet I'd say. Is that window hinged on the left or the top by any chance.

Thanks! It is to the left side (opposite the hinge).

It shouldn't open too much so.
Can you post a pic of how far it is opening?
