Is there such a thing as biodegradeable tennis balls or similar? My pup loves playing with a ball, but loses them regularly, often in the river. I don't want to pollute the world and kill the whales.

I wouldnt worry about them going to waste - another dog will pick them up. :) I haven’t bought tennis balls in years - we have an abundance of them from the dogs collecting them from the river. I keep a few but give most to my friend as her dogs are ball chasers.

My Shepherd has a knack for finding other peoples lost tennis balls!

But it's a great thought, biodegradable ones.

2 tennis balls and one football recycled from the river this morning and left in the park for other dogs to play with :p
