Purchased a vacuum cleaner - ridiculously cheap warehouse one. Amazon offer a prepaid label for the old vacuum via AnPost. I can't just throw it in the bin. The old one weighs about 9kg. How can they afford to do this?

Amazon loses money on loads of individual transactions. Its all about keeping product moving, cash moving and customers returning.
