Replacement retention compliance certs.

    Hi,

    We had an extension built about 20 years ago.

    A few years later we applied for retention and were successful.

    Now we are planning on selling up and can not find the documents.

    Is there a way to get replacement certs?

    We have try`d to get in touch with the architect but it seems he is not trading anymore

    Go in to the council and request the planning documents, they’ll likely be in storage/micro film

    The original grants can. Enordered from the council. There may be a small fee for retrieving them and making a certified copy.
