    Hi Isabelle,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Irish Water is responsible for the maintenance of the public water and wastewater infrastructure, which storm drains are not part of.

You can report a blocked drain to the Roads and Drainage Department of your Local Authority who are responsible for the maintenance of this infrastructure.

However, if there is a blocked sewer pipe in a public area, we can investigate this on your behalf.

    Kind regards,
    Niamh
