Hi all I just decided to start selling on ebay . Mostly old clothes, motorbike bits ers.

This is my first ever item for sale a pair of bike gloves

Mod SNIP: No need to include link to item to get advice.

If I am to sell them is just a matter of getting the buyers address and posting to them through anpost?

Sorry if stupid question and add is bad it's my first time doing it

When the item sells and money is received into PayPal you will get a message with the details of the buyer, prepare items and post to the buyer and keep the receipt for proof of postage, if the value is over €30 then it’s best to register it so you get proof of delivery.
Because you are a new seller the funds will normally be held for a period until it’s delivered or the buyer leaves feedback.

You don’t have to use anpost by the way, parcel motel etc are also an option

Thanks , its just when listing an item, what is domestic postage ? I have €9 set as that's anposts standard for most things in ireland , and with international postage iv it' at 20

So would this be right for the postage section , anything to change?

Youll really struggle to sell anything with such high postage. You'll have a lot of people bidding and then backing out when it comes time to pay as they won't want to pay the extra for postage.

eBay.ie really sucks with the amount of traffic and €9 and €20 postage will kill any chance you have of selling your items, auction is probably not the best idea for you and maybe you should think about a low buy it now price and factor in 14% eBay and PayPal fees and postage into the price and offer free post.
An post isn’t your only option for postage parcel motel is half the price normally.
Adverts would probably be an easier option.

Ya I know I'm just afraid of selling something and being out of pocket for it , i must check out parcel motel heard alot about it but never used , i currently have all the items on donedeal and adverts and have find while in general there good sites sometimes things take an age to sell :) il take your advise and review my postage costs etc later on the computer it's much tricker do on the phone IMO :) thank you
