FAI Accounts not being kep properly

    Well, that's a coincidence.

    So, Deloitte now come out with this revelation. I pulled the FAI's 2016 accounts and they were also the auditors re 2016 (and probably before that).

    What are the chances that this qualification would have come about if the current ructions weren't happening in the FAI?

    Instead of thinking well done Deloitte, I'm more inclined to think of Rats leaving a sinking ship or am I paranoid?

    Nail on head.
    There’s never a problem until the glaringly obvious comes into the public domain. First the wagons are circled and if that doesn’t work the blame deflecting begins.

    i think you will find that the FAI auditors were the auditors for some other companies that had "issues"
    it would be squeeky bum time in Deloitte now but they will be fine in the long run, bit of an investigation, pay a fine and go back to normal!
