VAT Naming on Invoices

Hi We are a VAT registered company. We also have a Business Name registered under the company. IS it sufficient for Vat purposes that the incoming VAT invoices have the business name only or do they need the full company name too... as in Business Name t/a company ltd. etc Thanks

Hi
