Hi. My Triton t90i has bitten the dust and I was hoping to replace it with a Triton 90sr as apparently they have the same footprint. The only issue is that the T90i was 8.5kw and the new model is 9kw. Would this make a difference? Don't want a fire hazard on my hands. Thanks.

All pumped electric showers are 9kw now. Technically you should have 10mm cable for 9kw but I see many electricians still using 6mm. I'd be more concerned about the size of the trip switch. You most likely have a 32amp but should have a 40amp rcbo

    Is this suitable?
