Stove coal covered in mould

    Hi all,
We have a multifuel stove with a back boiler that we use to heat radiators and hot water. Last October I bought a pallet of coal bricketts for stoves. They’ve been fine until now. The last couple of bags that I’ve opened have been covered in mould. The coal has been stored on pallets in a lean to type shed. There is plenty of air circulating around it and I stayed dry. I am wondering why it’s covered in mould and whether I should actually be using it?
    Thanks.
