Would anyone have one of these that was maybe cut of when shortening/threading barrel?

Yes you're right it is soldered on to the end of barrel. It is usually left on the end piece when a barrel is shortened. I am looking for one to refit on a rifle i am restoring.

Probably best to talk to someone who shortens and threads barrels , I never was given the front sites of the rifles I had threaded.
