    I know it's an odd sort of day what with 8k mad students and all but there are some big fields declared. Anyone got a strong fancy?

    I've heard there are some fine looking first and second year fillies on show. Some doing their finals are not too shabby either I would say.

    Keep an eye out. 8 thousand students at a race track sounds like a bit of craic to be honest, enjoy that.

    Maybe later for the horses as takes a while to correctly asses ones true chance and then most of them are covered in the market. But we will see.

    It might seem like a no hope bet and probably is but Dasmyhoss is off 252 days which normally would be a negative.
    However its record after a layoff reads 1-2-4.
    The other complete outsider is a bit more speculative as its very well bred but obviously had problems after winning first time out.

    Bit of luck and one of those can go close or win and a decent payout for a small stake.
