    Hi,

Is there anyway to set a limit whereby verified by visa will activate,
    when making purchases online?

I bought a rail ticket online for ~€25 euros. Its annoying to have to wait for
the code to complete the purchase for small amounts.

It's the online merchant who requests verified by visa, not your bank.

there is some changes brought in by PSD2. Card companies are now looking at this as an extra verification step. The other option is a card reader which provides a seperate pin.
