    1. I’ve just moved into a house and I’m unable to locate the stop cock, can you help?

    Would you mind sending a PM with the following details and we can look into this for you?

    - Full name;
    - Full address; and
    - Contact number.

    2. Can you tell me when the Ballinaclash Boil Water Notice will be lifted?
    We are continuously liaising with the HSE in relation to the Ballinaclash Boil Water Notice and aim to lift the Boil Water Notice as soon as it is feasible to do so.

    Once any update is received, it will be posted on our website and tweeted by our designated customer care Twitter page, @IWCare

    3. I have sent a few emails regarding the sale of my property and I’m waiting on a response. Can you help?

    If you send a PM with the following details, we will be happy to follow up:

    - Your full name;
    - Full address;
    - Email address; and
    - Contact number

    4. Can you tell me the water hardness in my area?

    While we do not test for water hardness, as it is a naturally occurring and not harmful to human health, you can read more on water hardness here.

    5. I am looking to extend my property however, there is a manhole and public sewer in my back garden. Is it possible to find out if we will be permitted to extend the house?

    We advise that you contact the local Planning Department in order to ensure that planning permission can be granted in order to complete this extension. The Planning Department will consult with our local Water and Wastewater Departments during this process to query if the public wastewater assets can be moved in order to accommodate this extension.
