I'm a newbie to the plumbing forum so go easy :)

We moved into a new to us house this week and immeadiately its obvious there is some plumbing issues.

The water pressure is very low on the unpumped shower head in the main bathroom. Usually onece a day the pipes going from the attic down through the gable wall of the house (15 year old wooden frame) make a racket for about 20 minutes. We thought it was the neighbours washing machine on spin cycle.

We had a look at in the attic and there is 2 large water tanks. The toilets are also filling very slowly so you have to wait to flush if someone was in there before you.

Does this make any sense ? I'm hoping someone can put all these symthoms together before call in a pro to resolve it.
