Hi all, just thinking out loud here but I was wondering what people opinions are on the following. Planning a self build at the moment, 3000 sq ft, well insulated (ewi), large south facing windows and it's time to decide on heating. Wondering if anyone has any opinions on a large solar array feeding a 300l (or larger) tank…

Hi all, just thinking out loud here but I was wondering what people opinions are on the following. Planning a self build at the moment, 3000 sq ft, well insulated (ewi), large south facing windows and it's time to decide on heating. Wondering if anyone has any opinions on a large solar array feeding a 300l (or larger) tank with immersion for colder months plus air to air heat pump ( not sure how many outlets). Was just wondering if there was any major pros/cons to this?
