I'm trying to clean under the top grill from a heating radiator (see pics). I will have to remove the grill to clean it properly but it won't budge. Any ideas? TIA

Your rad has a top bezel that over hangs both side panels, so I doubt the side panels slide up first.

It looks like the top bezel pops up first and then you remove the sides.

I tried removing the grill first but it seems to be fixed at both ends. Will try again though. Thanks

Silent Shrill - that's the you tube video clip that I tried tried without luck. Thanks

put a flat head screwdriver in at an angle at the top, hit a few light belts with a hammer and it should pop out

I done this before. As far as I remember you need to take the screw out of the bottom of the side panel first. Then when side panel is loose you can unclip the top panel.

Dunno if its the same but looks the same as one's I've pulled panels off. The side panels are removed by gripping and pressing downwards firmly. There's no screws, just a kind of click fit. Then the top comes off

The side panel should slide up (this is indicated by the fact that there is a gap underneath where it wraps around the valve on the top) ..... but they can be fiddly.

What you are basically trying to do is (and your second pic above shows it best) ease it upwards so the side panel itself spreads around the whitey/creamy coloured thing beside where the bottom valve enters the rad. Actually i think the white/cream coloured thing should contract allowing the panel slide up - you could try squeezing. Be firm with it. I did it on all of my own a while ago to hoover them.

Edit - I just watched the youtube video - yours are tiny bit different. Yours lock onto the bottom valve - his one locked onto the top. But its same principle as shown at 00.38 on the video except you're trying to get the bottom part freed.

Elbow grease, pops off from above, 100%. It’s just stuck. Side panels then come off (vertical - slide up)
