Hi - looking for some advice if anyone is kind enough.

I recently got a steel shed put in with kingspan insulation. Is getting timber the only way to go about covering over this or can plasterboard be used?

    Thanks

I have a similar shed in use as a garden room.
I battened it internally, subdivided and platerboarded it.

One thing to be mindful of is your internal humidity, particularly if on a full concrecte base.
Plasterboard and damp air, lack ov ventilation will cause issues if the room is used a lot.
Easily planned for/dealt with via using night vents on the windows, installing appropriate ventilation or a dehumidifier.

We got our insulated shed battoned, plastered and electrics ran into it with fuseboard etc. The guy who laid the foundation sorted it - additional cost was about 2k. We're very happy with the job - it feels like a room in the house. Prior to the plaster going on it was very damp inside.

Your local Steeltech supplier should be able to recommend people who are good who can sort this for you.
