Octavia Ambition v Elegance

Looking at two Octavias. Both 2015. Same price. Elegance has 25k km less. Both 1.6Tdi 110. Is there much of a difference in spec between ambition and elegance? Only thing putting me off the elegance is it has a beige seats and interior. Not good when I have kids.

I had a 2015 elegance but with black interior.
Main differences are:
Cruise control
Climate control
17" alloys
Rear parking sensors
Wood trim
Better seats
Rear armrest

Mine had the elegance "plus" pack so added tinted rear windows, electric folding mirrors and upgraded wheels. There's a few of them about too

Maybe one or two other small things.
1.6 and the 5 speed gearbox were my main problem. Annoying on the motorway

Can't do links but they are in michael moore athlone. Both have alloys, cruise, park sensors.
Only difference I can see are the seats and rear armrest.
How did you like the 15? I would be looking at keeping it for 5 years at least. Does the tb have to be done every 4 years?

I'm thinking about changing at moment and an Octavia around this age could be on the shortlist so interested in any answers, do's & don't etc.

I didn't have mine long enough to do a timing belt so don't know in that regard.

I did 90k km in 18 months in it. Only changed because of a 3rd baby in 4 years. I couldn't fault the comfort and spec. Ride was a bit hard but not terrible.

The low power and 5 speed box annoyed me with the driving I was doing but wouldn't bother must people.

Was perfectly reliable, plenty of space and the main dealers were decent.

Style just replaced the elegance.

It's active, ambition, style.

I think around mid-2015. There's no real difference bar a name change.

2016 Style vs Ambition? What are differences?

I thought cruise control was one but both seem to have it.
Parking sensors possibly?
