stuff to repair tear in washing machine gasket.

Hi, wash machine has a chunk missing out of gasket at the bottom, and water leaking out..
Saw on youtube a way of fixing it but just wondering what would i use??
Back in nz its called gasket goo, but is there something here thats good??

You could see if it's possible to move the gasket around so that the hole is on the top. Stick a bit of rubber to it with tec7 then. It won't last forever but if on the top it won't see much water.

I've used tec7 on bottom placed tears and it's lasted a surprising amount of time. But that presumes a rip, not a lump missing.



Do it soon, otherwise water will find its way into something and blow the PCB

I made this same repair a few months ago and it's still working grand.

I couldn't get the stuff the guy has in the vid, so used Tec7, and it worked fine.
