Looking promising.
Possible cheaper alternative to the OnePlus 7.
I'd imagine it'll be somewhat cheaper than the Mi 9 which is pitched at a more premium level.

will see but the mi 9 at 450 is already cheap for what is on offer.

not sure how the mi 9 selling that cheap really on Amazon Spain since it's launching at £499 in the UK.

maybe the redmi will keep the cpu but cut back on camera lenses (main 48mp, wide, zoom), the OLED screen and the build quality.

or by the looks of the pop-up front camera probably not really targeting the budget segment at all and probably going to be a jump up in price from the poco f1 levels so near same price as mi 9

the camera of the Mi 9 would be a big attraction imo so if it's cut back on the Redmi would be a definite downgrade.

Xiaomi official also recently published a video for a 100W charger that charge a 4,000mAh battery in 17 minutes!

Now that would be really insane if the Pro 2 had this feature!

True that could be an issue all right.
Perhaps they'd need to slow trickle the charge in the final 20/10% to avoid that issue.

afaik this would be a case where there would be actually 4 cells charged at 25w each, not one at 100w.

there are phones already with more than 1 cell in the battery.
