Surgery in the Uk

    I have an ongoing issue in which I have muscle wasting and daily pain
    Consulting here has said that an exploratory surgery may cause more problems and has refused to carry it out.
    I have located and attended a specialist in the UK who has done this surgery many times and is confident that he can help me
    I have vhi cover and have received a form to have filled out as an application for them to cover the cost.

    Has anyone ever had to go down this route before?

    Many go that route for eg hip surgery and especially cataracts to avoid waiting lists here so it will be well documented online. Healy Rae and others organise buses for cataract patients
