honeywell evohome and seai

2 questions, hoping they are straight forward:

Getting an honeywell evohome system installed, and the plumber highlighted that my previous plan of only getting 8 of the 11 radiators (leaving two towel rails and a hallway radiator) unzoned might not be sufficient for the SEAI grant as they hot water and space heating must be separately zoned. I'm hoping that just adding the additional controls to the remaining radiator & towel rails is sufficient to meet that requirement, or is the SEAI grant requiring that you separate the plumbing to ensure separate zones? The documentation just states 2 separate zones for hot water and space heating + one additional zone with the space heating.

I did locate a previous thread on this at some point which just stated that as long as the plumbing was correct the Honeywell Evohome met the conditions for the SEAI grant, but no hint of what that actually meant (it's 4yrs old).

When looking up to purchase the evohome system https://theevohomeshop.co.uk (which I better get bought soon to avoid getting the purchase caught in limbo) the plumber also recommended replacing all the valves with ones that are known compatible from the same shop to avoid any compatibility issues, however I've no idea what the difference is between the following 3 valve sets:
When I asked the plumber ift he VHL120-15A was suitable, the response was if I can't get 1/2" imperial the 15mm would be close enough, however looking at the images they all have 1/2" embossed on the valve, so I'm thinking that maybe 8mm/10mm/15mm is referring to something else, as 1/2" appears to be the standard in the UK for radiators/heating as well? Anyone able to explain the difference?
