McGonigle brothers Very high end stuff. They even showed up to a watch beers a few years ago. Nice guys by all accounts.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Yes, I think rebranded Vostok s.hitters should be excluded.

Firstly SAS wasn't a good brand name choice for an Irish watch company.
Secondly; "Designed, assembled, regulated, and tested in Ireland".
They neglect to mention the parts are all made in China.
So one is buying a Chinese watch, assembled in Ireland.
Rather like Federique Constant is Swiss made/assembled, from Citizen made Japanese parts.

Any wonder he has no time to make the watches, busy guy!

Apparently Ansley watches are Irish made according to the dial. The caseback says "assembled in Ireland". Sold by Weirs etc.
Personally I think they look like s.hitters made in China. Rather like an Irish version of Daniel Wellington.
Maybe tourists are their target market? I honestly don't know.

Told & Co. is owned by Tomás O'Leary.
Strange he chose (with his Dutch designer of course), to put London on the dial, then Swiss made, under the 6.
Tomás O'Leary is from Cork, so I don't get the London/Swiss logic there.
But no doubt wife Julie, "PR and marketing professional"; knows what she is doing. Or maybe the Danish designer thought it looks cool.
    Swiss made, definitely not China.
Julie, a former nurse from Leap in Co Cork, met Tomás at UCC.
"I always envisaged that one day I would run my own business.
"After studying at Michael Smurfit business school in 2011, I worked in London with [designer] Orla Kiely," she said.
"It was a wonderful experience and fantastic exposure to such a successful brand, that is managed day-to-day by Orla's husband, Dermott Rowan who has been a great mentor to me."
The couple's business partner is Alan Duggan and Tomás is also involved in a Redzone Recruitment in London, which specialises in the energy sector.

This is incorrect. The majority of the parts in SAS watches are Swiss and German made. The name choice may not have been great for Ireland but there is no market for Irish watches in Ireland. The main market for SAS is the States.
