    Morning
Can anyone answer a question for me please.
I see Ryanair are flying to above route or are about to. What size plane does it use?
Flew into Southend a few years back from Waterford and it was a prop plane and scared me no end...operated by Dr Lingus through aer Arran I think back then.

    Thanks Roy

Thanks for reply. Isn't that the same size plane that goes to Stansted?

Ryanair only use 737's, so yes.

Ryanair only operate one type of aircraft in its fleet. Boeing 737-800.

Although smaller you were in no more danger flying in the turboprop than you would be in any other aircraft. Both very modern and safe.

The Flybe planes that were/about to cease flying DUB to SEN route aren't prop planes - apologies I don't know the actual make model. I live 15 mins from SEN, looking forward to Ryanair moving in, prices already look much better - now if only they'd sort out the trains on that line but that's another yarn for another forum.

I loved the Aer Arann turboprops. It felt like you were in a WW2 bomber.
