Help identifying weeds

Hi, over the past few weeks a small patch of weeds in my garden has spread and is now covering almost half the garden, I’ve tried a few different weed killers but none are working. They look like big lily pads, with the biggest being almost 7 inches wide and knee high in places. I’ll attach a couple of photos in the next post, could anyone help identify them or suggest something to get rid of them. Thanks in advance

They could be violets, going by the leaves.

EDIT: Nope, not if they are as big as lily pads, apologies.

Edit - violets have much smaller, darker, shiny leaves.

Posted a short video showing part of the underground stem of the winter heliotrope a few years back when I was trying to control them in my grandmother's garden. If you are careful you can follow the underground stem back and remove a considerable amount of it in one go.
